We went here on a recommendation from a friend. We absolutely loved it. Danielle was our waitress and made some great recommendations. The crab cake, lobster fingers and oysters were excellent. Best crab cake I have had! We also has the wedge salad, seafood soup and the grouper. Grouper was a lil dry but the mash potatoes and spinach was great. Cocktails were very good and wine bottles were half off on Wednesday. Definitely recommend this place and have Danielle as your waitress!

I ate here for dinner on a Monday night in early November. The atmosphere is nice and upscale. This is the nicest restaurant in the area by far. I had the crab cake appetizer. It was very well cooked and had lots of real crab meat in it. The sauce it came with was amazing too. For an entree I had the seared snapper. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious. For dessert I had the butter cake with the candied pear and maple butter. This might be the best dessert I’ve ever eaten. It was like Fall on a plate! I also had a cocktail called Maple and Oak which was bourbon based. Very good. Highly recommend.
We came here for dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday and it was spectacular!! The food was perfection. I recommend the lamb, shrimp cocktail, and the grouper piccata. Our server tonight was Babz and she was WONDERFUL! She deserves a raise. We felt so well taken care of. I cannot wait to come back here the next time we are in town.
As my friend Andy says, the Grand Marlin is one of the hidden jewels of Pensacola. Every dish was outstanding. The gumbo was the proper consistency, with the okra cooked correctly. The blackened Red Snapper daily special had the right amount of heat. The Key lime pie slice is about 3 inches thick! We definitely will return.
The Grand Marlin is one of those places that you have that chill dinner at ... My guy Brayden held me down the whole night! Perfect choices for menu selections.. Drinks were good.. the food is pretty good as well... And they showed me love on my bday!! The seafood is brought in fresh (NEVER FROZEN) twice a day! Very nice establishment.. Respectful x fast service... It's probably one of the best restaurants in Pensacola Beach! PS: Dress nice x Make the night count!

Incredible experience from the moment I arrived to my last bite. Stop searching elsewhere and make a reservation now! You will not be disappointed. The environment is perfect with a Greta covered patio on the water. My server Bianca provided the best service. She is truly next level! All the seafood is incredibly fresh and the head chef changes the menu daily depending on what they have delivered. 90% of the seafood is local from the Florida coast. The crab cake was the highlight. The best I've ever had. Everything was so wonderful that I am going back tonight!
We had a great meal at Pensacola Beach’s high end restaurant Grand Marlin last Saturday. Our server Scott was excellent at ensuring everything was flawless. We started with the Blue Angel chips appetizer. It was very tasty, but the one minor disappointment was that the chips were broken and crumbled in tiny crumbs. We had the same appetizer many years ago and all the chips were whole slices of fried potato chips instead of broken up. I had the wedge salad with an add on of blackened gulf shrimp. So good! She had the gulf shrimp ( blackened) on whipped potatoes and Haricot Verdes. It was all delicious!
